Halifax Bruising Banditas are proud to be Halifax's first home Roller Derby team. With a focus on fun and fitness, we welcome skaters of all abilities and new starters alike to learn how to play this amazing sport in a friendly, open atmosphere. We're here to roll in the beautiful Calder Valley.

League Geschichte
Founded in 2011 by a small group of determined West Yorkshire women. This league is defined by the phrase 'Small by Mighty'!
Training
Main league training happen twice a week on Thursday 8pm-10pm and Sundays 1pm-4pm at Threeways Sports Centre, Halifax.
Our sessions for new skaters take place at Threeways Sports Centre in Halifax on Tuesday evenings, 8pm-10pm.
Recruiting
We are launching our second 'Be A Bandita' Programme! This programme is for all of you out there that want to give the wonderful sport of Roller Derby a go. Over 17 weeks we will teach you all the skills you need to know to Be A Bandita! Every Tuesday from the 1st September we will give you 2 hours to practice skating, falling, stopping, crossing-over, hitting and whipping; all the things you need to know! Don't worry if you have no skating experience, we will take you from the very basics all the way to getting you your very own purple Bandita bout top.
Where: Threeways Sports Centre, Nursery Lane, Ovenden, Halifax, HX3 5SW
When: Tuesdays from 1st September, 8pm - 10pm
Cost: £5 per session (£2 kit hire
